Finding the right meal plan for you

NAU offers a range of meal plan options from structured weekly meal plans that reset each week to flexible Dining Dollars to be used anytime throughout the academic year.

Weekly plans provide a number of meals (19, 14 or 10) each week resetting Sunday mornings while the Unlimited plan allows access to the Hot Spot and the DüB Dining District as often as you like! Additionally, Dining Dollars are included in each meal plan to supplement the meals. The new Blended Plans include a weekly amount of meals (5 or 7), a block of meals to be used anytime, and Dining Dollars.

Plus, weekly and block plan meals may be used as a “transfer special” in more than 23 restaurant locations across campus as well as in the all-you-care-to-eat dining halls: Hot Spot and the DüB Dining District. Unlimited plan meals may be used in the Hot Spot and the DüB, but do not provide transfer special options in retail locations.

Meal plans

Meal plans are available to students living on campus in Flagstaff. All students will have access to one of the following meal plans, based on their schedule and needs.

We also provide faculty and staff meal plans.

Unlimited

The Unlimited meal plan offers unlimited meals at any dining hall on campus. This includes the Hot Spot and The DüB, our “all-you-care-to-eat” dining options. Dining Dollars can also be paired with the Unlimited meal plan and used at any campus restaurant.

Weekly

The Weekly meal plan is our most popular option and offers a certain number of meals (10, 14, or 19) per week, and can be used at almost all dining locations on campus. This plan has greater flexibility, allowing you to use Transfer Specials at retail locations across campus, as well as our primary dining locations.

Blended

Blended plans provide five or seven guaranteed meals each week, plus a block of meals that are available once the weekly meals are used.

Other meal plan options

Commuter Trio meal plan

This plan includes Campus Dining Meals, Dining Dollars, and weekly Hello Fresh deliveries, specifically designed for NAU students living off campus. It is designed for commuters who want flexibility and convenience, combining meal swipes, Dining Dollars, and Hello Fresh vouchers to fit your busy lifestyle.

Block plan

Block plans work the same way as the traditional weekly plans, but instead of meals by the week, Block plans distribute a certain number of meals for the entire semester. For upperclassman and those who live off campus, block meal plans provide a small, flexible option with no weekly restrictions on the number of meals used. These plans are available to students living off campus, or those living on campus beyond their first year.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are included with every meal plan and can be used just like a debit card. They can be spent in addition to your meals and used across our campus restaurants and markets. You can purchase more Dining Dollars and carry them over from fall to spring semester.

Purchasing a meal plan and checking your balance

Meal plan charges appear on your LOUIE account. You can pay in full, or in three equal installments throughout the semester through Student and Departmental Account Services.

Check your balance, restaurant hours, and order food through the Starship Delivery Services, all through the NAUgo app.
