Both locations accept meal plan meals, Dining Dollars, cash, credit/debit, and JacksDebit Express (JDE), making dining affordable, convenient, and accessible.
The Hot Spot: A dynamic dining destination
Centrally located in the University Union, The Hot Spot offers an expansive all-you-care-to-eat dining experience. With eight different stations, you can mix it up with comfort food favorites, global dishes, a Mongolian-style grill, and a Superfoods Bar. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite between classes or settling in for a study break meal with friends, there’s always something new to try.

Bella Trattoria: with freshly made pizzas, pasta dishes, and Italian favorites.
Flying Star Diner: offering burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, chili, and Mexican-inspired dishes.
Basic Kneads: featuring a full salad bar, soups, and made-to-order paninis, wraps, and sandwiches.
Simple Servings: offering allergen-friendly meals prepared without seven of the eight most common allergens.

There’s also a dedicated food allergy-friendly zone, so you can eat well and stay safe, no matter your dietary needs.

Smokehouse & Grill: offering slow-roasted brisket, pork, chicken, turkey, sausage, ribs, and fish, plus grilled-to-order burgers, chicken, and specialty sandwiches.
Plant Forward: with a modern approach to healthy eating, featuring nutrient-rich, plant-based recipes.
Al Dente: with Italian-inspired dishes, including handmade sauces, seasonal vegetables, scratch-made pasta, and stone hearth oven-baked pizzas, calzones, and sandwiches.
Simple Servings: with dedicated space for allergen-free dining, avoiding seven of the eight most common allergens.
