Being part of the NAU community means looking out for each other. Whether you’re giving your time, sharing your experience, or making a gift, there are many ways to stay connected and make a difference. You choose how you want to support—from mentoring students to funding scholarships. Every effort and contribution helps someone move forward.

Give back

When you give to the NAU Foundation, you choose where your support goes. You can help fund scholarships, research, learning opportunities, and other areas that matter to you. Every gift helps students and supports the NAU community.

Ways to donate

Volunteer

Volunteering is one way to stay connected and support NAU. You can welcome new grads, reconnect with other alumni, mentor students, and more. Sharing your time helps the whole community.

Career mentor

Through NAU Advancement and Career Development, you can connect with other alumni and students by becoming a career mentor. No matter where you are in your career, this is a chance to provide support and build relationships.

Lumberjacks Thrive program

The Lumberjacks Thrive program brings students and alumni together. These connections give students a chance to apply what they learn in ways that can shape their future.

Student Giving Campaign

Each year, students support scholarships and programs that help other students. These gifts show the care they have for their community.

1899 Society

The 1899 Society honors those who include NAU in their future plans. This could be through a will, life insurance, or other long-term giving options.

Faculty support

Faculty help shape student success. By supporting faculty through endowed positions, you give them tools to teach and grow. This also helps students and supports learning.
