Campus learning and study spaces
There are many learning and study spaces across campus, where students can work collaboratively and prepare for success.
University Union
With lounge areas and plenty of space to gather, the University Union, especially the second floor, is a great place to relax, study, and gather with friends.

It’s also home to helpful student support services like the Academic Student Success Center (ASC), where you can get free tutoring, mentoring, academic coaching, and more resources to help you succeed at NAU.
Cline Library
With quiet study zones to hands-on labs, the Cline Library offers reserved and walk-in study spaces with fast internet and technology you can borrow.
Health and Learning Center
The Health and Learning Center offers a variety of comfortable study spaces, whether you’re working alone or with a group. On the second floor, you’ll find desks, chairs, couches with side tables, and private study rooms for extra focus. Each room is equipped with whiteboards for collaborating, planning, or working through assignments together.
Campus living communities
Many of our campus living community residence halls are equipped with study lounges and smaller study halls. These spaces are convenient for students living on campus, who want to work in a quiet space while being close to their residence.
Under any tree
There’s nothing like studying under the pines. Living in Northern Arizona means you’re surrounded by open green spaces, crisp mountain air, and plenty of sunshine. For a relaxing study session, take your books outside and enjoy a sunny spot on the quad.
