Gillenwater Hall is an apartment-style residence for juniors and seniors, with one-bedroom units shared by two students. Located in The Courtyards neighborhood, it features a central courtyard, shared amenities in nearby halls, and easy access to the University Union and academic buildings.

Tucked within The Courtyards neighborhood, Gillenwater Hall offers apartment-style living for juniors and seniors. Each one-bedroom apartment is shared by two students and includes a kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The courtyard is a favorite hangout spot, complete with a gazebo, grill, and even a horseshoe pit. Plus, residents get access to shared amenities in nearby Raymond and McDonald halls.

Close to the University Union, the bookstore, and academic buildings, Gillenwater makes it easy to get to class, grab food, or meet up with friends. The hall is named after Virgil Gillenwater, a former executive dean and vice president who played a big role in NAU’s growth.
