McDonald Hall is an apartment-style residence for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, offering one-bedroom units shared by three students. Each apartment includes a kitchen, bathroom, and living room, giving students more independence while staying connected to campus. Located in The Courtyards neighborhood, McDonald residents also have access to shared spaces and services in nearby Raymond and Gillenwater halls.
The hall features a game room with a pool table, plus an inner courtyard with a patio and grill. And no, it’s not related to the burger place, but McDonald Hall does serve up a solid campus living experience. Named after Lewis J. McDonald, an alumnus and longtime university leader, the hall has deep roots in NAU history.
