Morton Hall

Morton Hall is a coed, traditional-style community in North District, offering a close-knit atmosphere with engaging shared spaces. Morton provides a welcoming home for students of all academic levels.

Located in the historic North District, Morton Hall is a coed, traditional-style Campus Living Community that primarily houses freshmen and sophomores, with availability for all academic levels. It’s part of NAU’s gender-inclusive housing communities and shares a close connection with neighboring Campbell Hall. Students enjoy the quiet courtyard, easy access to the scenic North Quad, and living in one of NAU’s most iconic buildings.

Built in a classic Gothic Revival style, Morton is one of the original North Quad halls, and it comes with a few ghost stories to match its glowing nighttime presence. Named after Mary Morton Pollock, former English department head and student advocate, the hall continues her legacy of supporting students through all parts of their college journey.
