Taylor Hall

Taylor Hall is a coed residence for freshmen and sophomores, offering single and double rooms, study lounges, and direct access to the historic North Quad.

Taylor Hall is one of those places where you get to know the names and faces around you. Tucked into the beautiful, tree-lined North Quad, this coed, traditional-style hall is home to mostly freshmen and sophomores who enjoy being part of a smaller, close-knit community. With plenty of green space just outside, Taylor is perfect for spontaneous hangouts, study sessions, and quiet moments in one of the most scenic parts of campus.

As NAU’s first residence hall, Taylor has been part of student life for over a century—welcoming generations of Lumberjacks since 1920. Named after Almon Nicholas Taylor, the first president of Northern Arizona Normal School, this hall is full of history, heart, and the kind of campus experience that makes you feel right at home.
