Fraternity and sorority life
Build lifelong friendships, grow as a leader and give back to the community through fraternity and sorority life at NAU.

Fraternity and sorority councils
NAU’s fraternities and sororities are part of one of three governing councils: the College Panhellenic Council, the Interfraternity Council, or the United Greek Council. These councils support and guide chapters, promoting values, standards, and policies set at the national level.
College Panhellenic Council
The Northern Arizona College Panhellenic Sororities Council (CPC) is the governing council for NAU’s social sororities. Each chapter has elected leadership and participates in shared programming, service, and recruitment.

Interfraternity Council
The Interfraternity Council governs NAU’s social fraternities, providing leadership, accountability, and a community-driven experience.

United Greek Council
The United Greek Council fosters cultural awareness and inclusivity through fraternities and sororities that emphasize identity, heritage, and empowerment. Each fraternity and sorority has its president and a representative on the council.

Fraternity and sorority recruitment
Recruitment happens at the start of the fall semester and is your chance to explore different chapters and find the one that fits your goals and interests. Some chapters also recruit in the spring, depending on availability.
Community service and philanthropy
Giving back is a big part of Greek Life at NAU. Members raise money, volunteer, and partner with national and local organizations to make a positive impact on campus and in the community.
Unrecognized Fraternity/Sorority Chapters
University-recognized fraternities and sororities are supported by the Office of Leadership and Engagement and required to adhere to NAU's standards and policies.
Unrecognized groups are not affiliated with or monitored by the university, and we strongly discourage students from joining these organizations.
