Take care of your mind and body at NAU with accessible health and wellness services, on campus and online, including medical care, counseling, nutrition, and more.
Campus Health Services (CHS) is your go-to resource for medical care, mental health support, and wellness services on campus. All currently enrolled Flagstaff students who pay the Health and Wellness Fee can access care at CHS.

Urgent Care Clinic
Need care quickly? Our physicians and nurse practitioners are here to treat you for a variety of illnesses and injuries. You may schedule online or visit CHS for a same day appointment.
Immunizations
Living and learning in a campus community means protecting your health and others' health.
NAU requires all Flagstaff mountain campus students (born after 1956) to show proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). We also follow CDC and ACHA guidelines to encourage students to stay current on other key vaccines.
Required immunizations
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
All new and transfer students attending the Flagstaff campus must show proof of MMR vaccination or lab-confirmed immunity before registering for classes. Students born before 1957 and those not attending the Flagstaff campus are exempt.
NAU required vaccinations FAQs
How do I submit my MMR documentation?
Log into the Campus Health Portal, navigate to “Required Forms,” then "Immunization Records,” and upload your MMR records—or drop them off at CHS (HLC, Bldg. 25).
I have received the MMR vaccine, but I don't have documentation. What do I do?
Your provider can order a titer test. If you’re not immune, you’ll need to get the MMR vaccine.
Can I get the MMR vaccination from CHS?
Yes. Schedule an appointment with CHS. You’ll receive two doses, 28 days apart. A temporary override allows class registration after your first dose.
