Campus tour and event options
Discover NAU
Full-day event that provide an in-depth dive into life as a Lumberjack, academic discovery through your area of interest, discussion sessions, complimentary lunch, and more. Discover NAU days are hosted five days out of the year: Saturday, October 11th, 2025 , Saturday, October 18th, 2025, Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, Saturday, February 28th, 2026, and Saturday, April 11th, 2026.
Lumberjack Campus Visit
Lumberjack campus visits are offered at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the academic year and include:
- Admissions info you need to know
- Lunch at one of our All-You-Care-To-Eat dining halls
- Guided campus tour with a True Blue Ambassador
- One-on-one time with an admissions representative
Lumberjack Campus Visit: Extended Days with Academic College Exploration
Lumberjack Campus Visit: Extended Days with Academic College Exploration are offered at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays during most the academic year and include:
- Admissions info you need to know
- Lunch at one of our All-You-Care-To-Eat dining halls
- Guided campus tour with a True Blue Ambassador
- One-on-one time with an admissions representative
- Visit with staff or faculty from your academic area of interest
Transfer Visit Day
Our most in-depth transfer visit! Hear from current transfer students, get tips on transfer credits and campus life, and learn everything you need to know to make your move to NAU.
Virtual campus visit
Offered monthly at 3 p.m. MST-AZ and includes:
- Live presentation about NAU
- Opportunity to connect with an admissions representative and ask questions

Transfer student visits
Transfer students are always welcome at our standard tours, but we also have events just for you!
Virtual Transfer Fridays
Offered on select Fridays during the semester, these sessions are for students who’ve completed 12+ college credits after high school and are ready to transfer to the Flagstaff campus.

Bringing a group of 10 or more? We’ve got you covered.
Group tour details
Have 10 or more people interested in taking a tour? Sign up for a group tour, which includes all the highlights from our Lumberjack Campus Visits. Group Tours are available from Tuesday–Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Requesting a group tour
Please submit your request at least six weeks in advance. We require one chaperone per 10 students.

Traveling to campus
Directions to Northern Arizona University
Most tours begin at the Student and Academic Services Building (1100 S Beaver St.). Visitor parking is next door at the San Francisco Parking Garage (1101 S San Francisco St.).

If you're registered for a campus tour, parking is complimentary. You'll receive all the information you need via email a few days before your scheduled visit.
